We have been building and operating infrastructure on Proxmox for years, so this is not the beginning of something new. It is the formalisation of something we have already been doing.
We use Proxmox VE for virtualisation clusters and private-cloud infrastructure, Proxmox Backup Server for the backups behind them, and Proxmox Datacenter Manager to run it all as one estate. Every virtual machine we host runs on Proxmox VE clusters we operate ourselves, in Helsinki, Falkenstein and Nuremberg.
What changes is that we now supply the Proxmox subscriptions ourselves too. Architecture, deployment, licensing, support and day-to-day operation, all from one team.
For our customers, that means no boundaries between the people designing the infrastructure, the people implementing it, and the people keeping it running. Which is rather the point.
